this episode always makes me curious why people like Aokiji even after this. Like the one guy who was on that island and with his fruit could have made an immediate difference and saved people, just sat there and watched a genocide happen. Like he is 100% complicit and I honestly don't know if there is anything he could do in the future to make up for that in my eyes. Literally first time I watched this it was me watching one of my favorite characters immediately drop out of favor

2023-06-10 06:58:24 +0000 UTCTears rolling down my face during the whole thing. For me , the pacing in One Piece has always felt bad, it drags like you guys say, but it is mostly an anime only thing. I do think the manga flows very nicely. Even for the annoying villains, in the manga they have no sound so it isn't noticeable xD Robin saying she wants to live is one of the most memorable moments in the series.

Episode. 🥲😩😩👏👏 just to clarify in case it confuses you at any point or they refer to them using either name: kuzan is his real name (aokiji is a nickname = "blue pheasant"), the guy who destroyed the evacuation boat was called sakazuki (akainu is his nickname = "red dog").
