2023-11-30 13:12:22 +0000 UTCGlad y’all are intrigued the next 4 episode are really when it picks up. After episode 10 is when you’ll know if the show is for you or not. Quick info that I think a a lot of people get confused on with the curse of the Abyss. The Curse affects people when they ascend in that layer which is why Riko got sick when riding the Gondola and when the bird picked her up in episode 5. Going down is fine. Each layer the curse gets worse which is why nobody returns if they go below a specific point. They can’t without suffering the curse which gets worse the lower they go. Also fun fact Marulk is actually a boy he uses the masculine word for “I” which is why Reg asked if he was a girl or not. They never touch on this again for some reason and it comes off as a really weird moment lol
