Chapter 694: Can It Be In Time?

From the people of the Southern Domain, the newcomers quickly learned that in the Huaxia Empire, various races coexisted, all treated equally.

In the Huaxia Empire, the term "common folk" no longer existed, because even the weakest citizens had reached the Forming Origin Realm, and the youngest generation had achieved at least the Nirvana Realm.

Common folk were no longer the ones being oppressed. Instead, they were Huaxia citizens.

Everyone, regardless of who they were, was considered a Huaxia citizen, and everyone was treated equally.

There was no senseless slaughter among them, and those who worked hard could always expect to be fairly rewarded.

Long journeys were no longer as tiring, thanks to the presence of a department known as the Ministry of Transportation, which provided various magical transportation tools that made travel easy and convenient.

The Huaxia Empire was a wonderful place, a land where life thrived.

Hearing these descriptions of life from the Southern Domain’s citizens, the people of the Northern, Eastern, and Western Domains began to yearn for such a life.

Especially when they saw the Southern Domain humans laughing and chatting with people of different races, walking arm in arm in a show of friendship, they were astounded.

At first, the people from the three domains found it hard to accept.

But after spending more time with the people from the Southern Domain, they slowly came to understand that the other races of the Western Continent also had their hardships.

There were peaceful races there, but also savage and brutal invaders. Even among the other races, there were distinctions between superior and inferior races.

As they spent more time together, the people from the three domains began to realize that the other races were not as savage as they had imagined. In fact, they weren’t all that different from humans, aside from appearance and unique abilities.

For example, the Eight-Armed Sea Race had eight arms, which made them extremely efficient and made many envious. The Red-Horned Race had incredibly strong bodies and immense strength. The Dwarves were astonishingly skilled in forging, and so on.

Additionally, when they went to clear out soul beasts around their homes, they noticed how the people from the Southern Domain fought differently from them.

When they fought soul beasts, they would simply rush in, slashing and stabbing chaotically, with little coordination.

In contrast, the people from the Southern Domain fought with precision and discipline, moving in and out in perfect rhythm—it was like witnessing the art of war.

Different types of soul power and weapons were used in perfect harmony.

When they traveled in groups, those from the Northern, Eastern, and Western Domains would watch in amazement at how the Southern Domain people organized themselves.

"Heading to Liu Yun Mountain to clear soul beasts, need three experts at the Breaking Void Realm from the Black-Horned Race, preferably with earth-element soul power. Fire-element works too."

"Going to Clear Lake to clear soul beasts, priority for sea races. Others welcome if you have water-breathing soul tools. No fire-element soul power."

In the plazas of nearly every city in the Northern, Eastern, and Western Domains, such calls could be heard, mostly from people of the Southern Domain.

At first, the people of the three domains found it odd. However, many decided to follow these calls, joining the teams.

Once they joined, the Southern Domain people showed no arrogance and patiently explained their combat strategies, teaching them how to coordinate and improve efficiency.

For many people from the three domains, the Southern Domain people became their teachers in group combat, teaching them invaluable skills.

Some even lamented that if the people from the Huaxia Empire had come earlier to teach them these combat techniques, perhaps fewer of their comrades would have perished.

Gradually, they began to understand why the Huaxia Empire’s combat power was so formidable, and why the masterminds behind the undead army feared the Empire.

Many now felt that joining the Huaxia Empire had been the right choice.

Over time, Ye Xin managed to stabilize the situation. The Huaxia Empire now controlled all of the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Domains, as well as seventy percent of the Central Domain.

After all, the Holy Spirit Sect had already merged into the Huaxia Empire, and the Yuan family had also become part of it. The other seven major forces had been thoroughly defeated, and their territories were annexed by the Empire.

With the fall of these powers, the smaller factions under their control had no choice but to join the Huaxia Empire, avoiding unnecessary deaths.

The remaining factions in the Central Domain that still refused to join the Huaxia Empire were left alone. Ye Xin had no intention of forcing them to join. She was now fully focused on preparing for the inevitable resurgence of the undead army, which had been growing stronger in the shadows.

With the Eastern Continent now settled and nearly unified under the Huaxia Empire’s banner, many of the earliest Huaxia citizens were astonished by the Empire’s massive territory. It seemed almost like a miracle.

Meanwhile, on the Western Continent, war had fully erupted.

The Huaxia Empire’s formidable strength had taken a toll on the savage invaders who had attempted to conquer the Eastern Continent. The arrival of the undead army had only made things worse for them, and they were forced to retreat.

With no other option, the savage invaders returned to the Western Continent in disgrace.

But these invaders had wreaked havoc on the peaceful races of the Western Continent when they first set out, burning, looting, and killing, which had stirred widespread anger.

The peaceful races, already simmering with resentment, began planning to strike back at the savages. They knew that if they continued to show weakness, they would eventually be devoured.

When they discovered that the savage invaders had not only failed in the East but had also suffered heavy losses, they became eager to act.

As soon as the savage invaders returned to the Western Continent, they were met with fierce resistance from the peaceful races.

This intense conflict raged on for three full years. During that time, under Ye Xin’s leadership, the Huaxia Empire had completed its defense network.

But in the fourth year of Lin Qian’s disappearance, the undead army finally awakened!

As the massive undead army stirred, dense death energy spread out, and their eyes gleamed with a blood-red glow.

In the underground space beneath the fire tree, Lin Qian remained seated in meditation, his eyes tightly closed as the Earth Spirit Flame continued to envelop him.

Suddenly, Fire Granny’s usually calm expression turned tense. "This is bad! The Black Demon has made his move, and the undead army has awakened."

Her face filled with urgency as she looked at Lin Qian. His aura fluctuated, and he was at a critical breakthrough moment.

"This is terrible. I’m not sure if he’ll make it in time."
