2024-09-13 05:23:45 +0000 UTCfishman island isn't exactly my fave arc or the fandom's lol, but this backstory is genuinely good. im usually iffy about racism allegories in anime because it takes nuance to do it correctly with how serious of an issue it is, but i think oda tackles this in a respectable way.
