2019-10-30 17:29:38 +0000 UTCThis would be a great introduction to Punjabi Cinema, it’s a film very close to all Punjabis hearts as it was based on the 1984 Sikh genocide and the aftermath of it. There are many many many atrocities that the Indian Government and policemen perpetrated against Sikhs during that time but this films touches on one of the aspects of it. There are many documentaries and articles and first-hand accounts +videos about this genocide, it would be best to educate yourself before watching for context but you don’t need to, but please do ❤️
