Thank God Gandhi jee was there to save the day. But then I started to put myself in their place and tried to think of a famous person from mainland China (not Hong Kong or Taiwan) and only Jet Li came to mind initially. It took me two minutes to recall Zhang Zhi. So it makes sense for them to be so disconnected with a culture so foreign to them.
