When lockdown was declared, thousands of migrant workers in big cities had to do a mass Exodus back to their hometowns in remote villages in other states. Some had to walk hundreds of miles. Lots of people provided as much relief like food etc . But it was a very heartbreaking sight especially when there was call for social distancing. Humans persevere against all odds but only with a sense of brotherhood.

2020-04-25 14:57:11 +0000 UTCI think the visuals are from when the lockdown started and the migrant daily wage labourers were scrambling to go back to their states / villages. And, they were being sprayed once they got into Mumbai, I think. (Not a good way to treat human beings, of course). There are still tons of migrant workers that are stranded and are not home yet.
