Akshay is a daredevil himself, a fitness freak, and was a martial artist long before he was an actor. And yes, he hosted the Indian version of Fear Factor Extreme - Khatron Ke Khiladi. In fact, the name of the show was clearly at least in part because he was hosting it. Who else is "Khiladi"? I used to work with the company that produced KKK, although I never worked on that show, and I've heard some phenomenal stories about Akshay's antics on set. Every single stunt that the contestants had to do - he did it himself first.
