LJP has gone after other frameworks as well. Example- Angamaly diaries. This probably is his most commercial yet brilliant film. Most “normal” movie goers will like that one rather than Ee ma yau or jallikkattu because of less artsy element in it. Probably easier to get for non Malayalam speakers as well. One reason why Abhishek Banerjee suggested it 😊 next LJP movie must be angamaly diaries. Amen with fahad is a much older film before fahad became a sensation and there are lots of local nuances you may not catch in that. Still worth a watch. His most underrated and disliked film should be “Double barrel” - it’s a gangster spoof and nothing like any other film made ever in India. It bombed at the BO mainly because the audience were not ready for such a film but many people became It’s fans after it made to streaming platforms.
