In terms of wedding songs, it's a mix of folk songs, traditional wedding songs and Bollywood/ Film music. The folk songs and traditional wedding songs are usually played (or actually sung with dholaks (a percussion instrument) and/or a harmonium) during ceremonies and smaller functions, while film music is played during dance parties, which could be every night of almost week long wedding celebrations. Atleast the weddings I have seen, but it could differ from region to region. And you should definitely crash an Indian wedding. More often than not, they'll just be happy to have you join the party 😁 and will feed you and get you drunk and you can dance the night away! If you do, vlog it!
