As everyone else, I've been a huge admirer of SPB Sir. I have been listening to his Hindi songs (getting familiarised with the others in the last few days only) since I was like 2. While his songs like Aate Jaate, Saathiya, Mere Rang Mein, Aaya Mausam Dosti Ka, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Dil Deewana, Bohot Pyaar Karte Hain and more melt my heart but at the same time songs like Do Mastaane, Yeh Raat Aur Yeh Doori, Aaja Shaam and more strike a chord with the fun side. His legacy and talent is unmatchable. This song has made me sooo emotional. May he rest in peace and melody...

I learnt by listening this great legend. Like Rick mentioned. He was a chain smoker for his first 35 years in industry. He never rejects drink offering. He likes ice cream and cold drinks a lot. But he mentioned several times during his stage shows, not to follow his path get their voice spoiled. Somehow he has been gifted by god with such voice. More than all these, his humbleness. Very down to earth person. Happy to have met him in my life. Happy to have watched his live shows. I will live with your songs. Thanks OSR for this reaction. I am very happy for listening this one.

Thank you for this. 🙏 Many of us grew up listening to this great guy who didn’t even have classical music training for a good part of his life but still took the audience to amazing levels of happiness through his voice. This one is one of my favorite Hindi songs from 90’s originally sung by the same people on stage! In Hindi, he sang mostly for Salman Khan and weirdly it felt as if salman was actually singing. SPB had a lot to do with salmans early success for sure. 😊 The female singer K S Chithra is also in the record books with 25000 recorded songs in 15+ languages. She predominantly sang in Malayalam and Tamil and a lot of songs for AR Rahman. You may have forgotten but you already reacted to her national award winner from the movie “Bombay”. She is revered almost at the same level as Lata Mangeshkar.
