I too feel so. The actual Director is totally ignored always whenever they see even a touch of AK’s name on that film..

All you guys do is just mention his name in the beginning and then act like Anurag is the one who made the film. I know you love Anurag (I do too) but give Motwane some credit boys.

The general apathy of say an underpaid security guard or passers by .. they don’t care why a TV was on the ground. None of that struck me as odd. Having said that .. I get why Rick didn’t like it, and that’s perfectly fine.

As someone pointed out above about the way buildings are constructed in India. Also, the people were just not below the building. As it was an apartment building, they were all outside of it and no matter whatever he threw below, it is very likely that nothing would have reached them. As it was a deserted or uninhabited building, the only person present inside the building at all times was the guard who was (1) an old, careless, underpaid employee who either had a hearing problem or was always plugged to earplugs (so couldn’t hear anything falling at another corner of the building may be) and (2) who had gotten used to the fact that no one lived in the building (more so because he didn’t see Raj Kumar finally moving into the apartment - might be wrong here as I watched the movie a long time back). I also think he was too desperate in love and wanted to prevent the arranged marriage of his gf. And this desperation forced him to overlook a lot of logical reasons that should have acted as red flags for him to not take that apartment. People do that in love all the time I guess, so that’s not something to debate upon. That’s again very subjective. And the list of such subjective choices and cultural differences go on. Having said all that, I myself didn’t like the movie too much. But then there are so many ways to look at a single situation. Was just trying to explain that.
