This film is a MASTERPIECE!!! And so is Manmarziyan with Vicky and Tapsee. Highly highly recommend. I also love Bombay Velvet. It has its flaws, but my god is it a beautiful film with so much to appreciate.

The boxers opposite the lead might look less bulky and are actually some of the top national players who are currently representing India at International level. 2. The plot might be confusing in its showcase of the relationship of government jobs with sports accomplishments in India - Kashyap wants to show what really being a boxer in India looks like rather than what we see or have come to expect of it from films. 3. The film uses “Beef Lynching”, Caste Discrimination (Brahmin vs Lower Castes), and the various lynchings that took place with offenders using patriotic slogans while conducting hateful violence (“Bharat Mata ki Jaye” - Salute to Mother India): play important role in the plot of the film A rousing film and so emotional!
