Update: On Life and to Patreon

Hey there everyone!

As you may have noticed, I have been posted a lot more this month than normal. My couple month hiatus has been very refreshing and has allowed me some time for self reflection for what I want for my career and for this Patreon. My work with Scrap Yard Leather is going very well, demand is high, we're looking to hire someone full time this summer, our new sewing machines has effectively doubled production and we're developing some new products. Therefor, my prime focus will need to be on the company as I have many more people that depend on me now. This past month I've also realized that I've been having much more fun drawing more small little things than 1 big thing. I've also been following more patrons and realized what they trend towards to help boost pledges.

That all being said, I will be making some small adjustments to the pledges and content. I won't force myself/guarantee a full finished piece every month, but be focusing on drawing more small content, like sketches, flats, etc. Many of which will likely be exclusives and be both traditional and digital. I'm also considering sharing more stuff from my Scrap Yard company, but I'll need to do that on the fly and keep certain things discreet as they are private commissions or company secrets. Most pledge content will remain the same, there will really only be a change to the price amounts as follows:

$1- A standard thank you

$2- All rewards previously made for $1 patrons, this is due to how Patreon cashes out the amount for creators. It basically makes $1 pledges null and $2 pledges a little more than half of it's amount. I'd rather not raise the lowest tier, but that's what most other patron pages seem to be doing anyways and it appears to be working for them. To all those who have pledged the $1 tier, I do greatly appreciate your support and it sucks that the sites forces creators hands this way and I hope you will make the jump.

$4- All previous awards made for $5 patrons

$7- All previous awards made for $10 patrons

$10- All previous rewards made for $15 patrons

The next payout (July) will proceed to be charged as normal and then the switch will be implemented for every proceeding billing cycle (August)

I hope these changes will suffice to current patrons and help drive up new supporters.
