As much as I like Shah Rukh Khan and Bollywood 90s and early 2000 films, this films (watched in 2021) was one of my biggest disappointments. The story is ok, the ending could be better. But the mannierism of the film is unbearable, particularly with some scenes shot in a TV soap-opera style. I also think that Abhishek Bachchan is here the best. SRK is very good-looking, convincingly limping, embittered, but in some scenes so dreadfully overdramatic... And in KANK it is not counterbalanced by his charm. However, I should probably rewatch the songs. With your reviews I like them.
