If you see Deepika's early movies and now you will see how get skintone changed. I heard of shots being given for lightening pigmentation. Not sure if it's true but a lot of actresses become lighter over time and I just don't get that.

2021-07-01 02:41:43 +0000 UTCMy grandma (god bless her soul, she was a sweet lady) used to tell me that I was dark. She used to constantly tell my mom to apply all kinds of creams on me. My mom would just tell me to ignore her comments. I don’t hold that against my grandma coz, otherwise, she was a sweet lady. This “fair” thing was probably ingrained in her since childhood. I am darker than my mom and dad. I got my grandpa’s complexion. But I didn’t care. Neither did my parents. But my grandma would always say that it would be hard to find a guy for me to marry. Well, I found one on my own ;) and he is a damn good man who doesn’t give a rats ass about the color of my skin :)
