This is one of my top favourites of his Others are 1) Seemabaddha - socio political 2) Goopy gyne -- Political satire 3) Aranyer Din Ratri -- a commentary on 'othering' and sexual objectification 4) Shonar Kella and Joy Baba Phelunath -- joyous detective stories 5) Chiriakhana -- complex detective story

Ray showed how to make a political satire/ comedy which might look like a children’s movie on the outside but the messages are deep. Also a lot of children used to collect tickets as a hobby back then.
