PLEASE WATCH THIS. This does qualify for the month or any other for that matter. As far as parallel cinema is concerned, there are certain actors who, according to me, have never given a bad performance. I might miss some but Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Smita Patil, Shabana Azmi, Deepti Naval, Farooq Shaikh, Pankaj Kapoor, Amol Palekar - these thespians were known for their realistic portrayal in films. Also there were many directors who were the drivers of the New Indian Cinema movement but you have to get to the legend that is Shyam Benegal.
