Thank you for the review, Rick and Korbin. I loved both Prakash Raj and Mohanlal equally in... "Iruvar". And that's saying a lot. The Duo ! And of course Ash too. On Friday while watching The French Dispatch, I had the same thought: "This is a bit like Iruvar". Especially some of the black & white sequences. But The French Dispatch lacked an emotional thread, maybe purposefully. Iruvar is a beautiful story that helped me empathise with the Tamil story and their struggle. Maniratnam is courageous as always.
