Utsa Pattnaik, a renowned economist from India, wrote a research article in Columbia University Press in 2018. This research paper categorically refuted British moral assertions. Patnaik concluded that Britain plundered almost $45 trillion from India between 1765 to1938, based on nearly two centuries of precise tax and trade data. This amount is almost 17 times the current combined GDP of Britain and India. My ancestors are British and I’m ashamed of them for being cheaters, changing the narrative to suit people’s belief’s and for being the cause of the destruction of a great nation like India. I still believe India is an organic nation and in a few decades will surpass all the nations once again to rule the world. It doesn’t need to ape the west which I’m afraid it’s new generation is trying to do. Irrespective, it will grow organically and surprise everyone.

He’s mad about the pressure western world is putting on India and China to clean their act and lecturing them about how to get it done when it is because and for the western world that developing countries are still coal and fossil fuel dependent. He’s mad that along with the lectures and pressure there is no acknowledgment and accountability. The western world always assumes a position of authority and assumes lack of awareness when it’s not that at all.
