100% I enjoy John's complexity. There's a ton wrong, but a different lends SOME things make a little bit of sense

He's really easy to hate-and I also get it. A lot of times I'm like fuck you, as it is up to the parent, but he's also just a very flawed human being. I ilke writing stories from Sam and Dean's childhood because of this. John is someone you can view in multiple different ways. Asd as a writer, I find that really interesting/refreshing
