@PAM : Are you seriously saying that the youth in this generation have the same emotional and intellectual maturity of the youth in ancient India? Then you are seriously mistaken. The youth in the current generation are seriously misled by many factors including the media, internet, movies etc. They go into depression for very minor things. They get literate but not educated. There was openness in the ancient Indian civilization where people used to talk about sex openly and we have the Kamasutra. That was a book on the science of sexual act. However what does this generation consider it to be? A sex book but not in terms of science. We treat women as objects with the movies and media having a bigger hand. The youth now can't make a proper life decision. Don't talk about the 1 or 2% of the urban youth or really well educated and mature youth. Think about the remaining 90 - 98% of them. And don't tell me the movies like these never sway their minds at all.

No one can be confused about their sexuality - teenagers are thinking individuals for one - and also its not a condition or a habit to be encouraged or discouraged!! So going back to ancient India do you think the temples were allegedly 'confusing' young people?

It really confuses me then as to how you choose the movies you review and what is the criteria there? While I understand some are patreon chosen, what made you choose JJ ? over say a Jhund - critically acclaimed, starring AB and national award winning director whose work You have appreciated in the past( Sairat, Fandry) Or Sherni starring Vidya Balan which released directly on OTT, critically appreciated, made by a proven director and solid star cast Or Suryawanshi-coz it was hyped too, pot boiler like Pushpa which eventually you didnt like but still chose to watch in the theater.. Genuinely curious to know how you choose which films to watch?

You don’t think there can be gay people in rural areas? See? Clearly there is a massive need for education and awareness. These movies are not attempting to glorify anything. They are trying to give you a perspective. All they are “encouraging” is acceptance without judgement. Clearly there’s waaayyysss to go on that front. It’s amazing to me how people can hold strong opinions when they know so little about the subject matter.

Is the urban society- yes but not for adults as they don't need to be educated on this. Is it teenagers? YES! Then is the movie not guilty of confusing them in their already confused state due to hormones and all and making them think about their sexuality? Is the movie educating people that we are not supposed to discriminate people based on their sexual orientation or is the movie encouraging homosexuality? We do not want our future generations to be confused about their sexuality by getting inspired from these movies encouraging or glorifying such things. This is my opinion on these movies especially those coming out of bollywood and this is my answer for ur question above where u asked what we didn't like about homosexuality.

Just my opinion and I respect others who still want to be homosexual even after the absolute stand of God. Atleast they are aware of it. That’s why I hated brokeback mountain too. Although, I loved the movie on it’s own.
