Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi Kahi | Deewana Song | Shah Rukh Khan | Divya Bharti | REACTION!!

Oh I can totally see your point of view. I think what bothers me most about Deewana Is this concept of marriage on top of marriage. If a girl is already married and gets remarried, wouldn’t her first marriage still be the valid one and the second be invalid? They’ve done this a few times in Bollywood before, including Imtihaan, and it pissed me off every time. Why does the victim lose everything? 😂😭🤧

Thank you for these memories! Divya definitely had great screen presence. I saw Deewana about two years ago when I was still very green about Bollywood. And my first thought was that Bollywood REALLY needed then a new star - comparing young SRK to aging Rishi Kapoor and SRK's Deewana film friends, not particularly attractive😉 But I had no idea who Rishi was and I haven't seen young Salman or Aamir yet😁 My second thought was that SRK was not particularly good (dialogue delivery!) at the beginning of his career. Untill I saw Raju ban Gaya Gentleman and understood how uneven his performances might be. And dramatic Deewana's climax is so hilarious from today point of view😁

Ironically, when this movie released, my cousins and I were big Divya fans and we HATED the “new guy.” We referred to SRK as “skinny lump” (I don’t know where that name came from) throughout the movie and were FURIOUS at the ending. We were team Rishi-Divya. 😂 And while I started loving SRk post his second film, I still hate the Deewana ending. 🙄😒😝 I was 8 years old when Divya died, but I had the memorable experience of watching her perform live the year before her death at the chamakte sitare concert here in the US, along with Aamir, Salman, Juhi Chawla, Raveena. It’s a great memory.

Oh, you missed out on an important detail that this was Shahrukh Khan's debut movie. You should also react to the song 'Koi na koi chahiye' from the same movie. That song was his first scene in the film, and basically his entry into Bollywood. The rest, as they say, is history.

I do value being here particularly for such moments. When some of you share stories not obvious for a foreign outside viewer, like the story of Divya Bharti. From outside Deewana might be remembered only for SRK's debut, in which he outshone aging Rishi Kapoor, and Koi Na Koi Chahiye song. There's so much more with memories that you share here.

Love Korbin's dance steps and energy !!

Meena Malhotra

Yeah he’s not comfortable doing it at all and he’s been vocal about it. He had a no kissing rule that he broke for Yash Chopra. He should’ve stuck to it. No need to do something you’re not comfortable doing and we don’t care to see it. 😂

Mogambo. There is a video on youtube about top 10 western inspired bollywood songs. Its very interesting. Plz do check out. Here is the link https://youtu.be/VxGMr4z2wbw. And there is another video https://youtu.be/k_2rkgv726g

Anju D. Ramgoolam

And he shouldn't kiss on-screen at all if he kisses like that, particularly in Jab Harry Met Sejal.

Aleksandra

And in zero as well as Harry met sejal

This is a rare interview of Divya Bharti https://youtu.be/zHeCcu3E6RA

This video fell off the rails LOLOLOL. On another note, please watch this video of Shah Rukh. Its a great song in a very avg movie called Pardes. Song: Do Dil Mil Rahe Hai https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmJW33derRY

Kush Thakkar

FYI….Srk has actually kissed in the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Katrina)

Avanti Sengupta

Ironically, when this song and movie released, he was just a newcomer and she was the star. Divya was a very moody individual (which basically is how they would describe people with depression then as mental health wasn’t a thing), but she lit up the screen and was an absolute natural as an actress, dancer, you name it….especially considering how young she was at the time of her mass success. Definitely would’ve gone on to be in the ranks of Madhuri, Sridevi etc had she lived. 😢🤧

Sophia Q

She died in 1993 and was just 19 yrs of age This song makes me sad seeing a beautiful actress go away so quickly The ice mountains in the song are the Himalayas and not this song was shot in India and not Switzerland

Ajax

This is the song for which most of us all watch it for Divya Bharti apparently more than srk(atleast myself).Every song need not to be cheesy. You need to watch few of her songs which will make you realise what popularity she had throughout, but sadly her fame lasted short as she died very young .

Ivy

Your conversation at the end of this reaction was hilarious 🤣 I think SRK should play a vampire too
