Exactly... first 3 - 4 lines i was agreeing as i was so surprised to see their review after RRR (Sorry telugu friends, there are many gems from telugu but RRR wasnt that great if not for the grandiosity). But the moment nathan added Prithiviraj, stopped reading further :D

In fact, it's underwhelming in every cinematic or artistic aspect. And it literally has one of the most commercially viable actor at its helm, and how is it without "hype"? And when has OSR stopped giving merit to art? I'm glad they have moved away from seeing things as only either commercial or art, both of them can co-exist, and can be appreciated without having to go purist on either side. I like the fact that they've understood the culture enough now to see the content for what they are intended to be rather than pre-conceived expectations.

But, you seem to have been swayed by the fan base and forgetting your original purpose, i.e. to give merit to the art. I used to work as a journalist in a mainstream media earlier but it was very suffocating as they only catered to fake news. It’s against my principles and that’s why I shifted to being an independent journalist. Money is less than 1/3rd here, but guess what, I’m happy. My original purpose is served as I’m writing pieces which are true and honest to my knowledge. It gives me immense satisfaction. I request you not to cater for patreon members or youtube ads revenue. I didn’t see you seeking tickets for privthiraj chauhan movie which got released yesterday as it didn’t have the “hype”. Please do a favour for the sake of art. Watch this as soon as you can before anything else. It’s not Padmaavat level and VFX is not great, but it’s better than Troy and a beautiful movie that serves the art it’s deserved place. I’ll be really happy. 🙂
