The bangles that babies wear to ward off the evil eye are usually made of black beads...the thought is that black color attracts attention immediately and so the person is looking at the bangles and not at the child Both my daughters wore black beaded bracelets/bangles for a year :)

2022-08-18 23:28:08 +0000 UTCMany many Indians buy a lot of bangles through their lifetime. Surprised they did not mention Hyderabad which is famous for bangles with stonework. In fact there is a market called Chudi bazaar or the Bangle Market that carries mostly rows and incredible rows of beautiful bangles. Am glad this video is focusing on the toxicity behind and bring awareness to it.
