This song and its emotions still punches me in my gut even today, and its 24 years since the movie released. I watched this movie in my teens a few weeks after it released and I was awed by every single damn thing, but this song made me feel the pain in my stomach back then and every time I see it in all these years!!!

2023-07-30 02:52:40 +0000 UTC23 years and still most songs can’t match the brilliance of this composition! Hats off to Ismail Darbar who faded away for some reason. And what to say about KK! This was one of his earliest works in Bollywood even though most of us heard him in jingles like Hero Honda, Pepsi , Colgate commercials a million times in TV. This song gave him a distinct spot in the movie industry. Movie as a whole May be a bit too melodramatic for your taste though. Aish as usual is the strongest performer. Ajay does well too.
