2022-07-01 17:16:30 +0000 UTCAs much as I like Bollywood 90s and SRK I can't watch Baazigar. I tried to rewatch it but I quit. Story of revenge is good. Film has its twists and good dramatic moments. I can see Kajol's talent and SRK's good acting. But it's so dated in too many elements. So many cringy cinematic tools. Too many simplifications in the story. Too much telling instead of showing. And terrible comic elements. Climax in the style of Darr. I have a feeling that Korbin has been tormented with Darr (which I mostly like) and saw it mainly as a collection of flaws. I can't imagine him watching Baazigar. I would recommend just some songs or a scene reaction from this film.
