in all honesty, the practice of arranged marriages at its core has casteist and classist agendas of endogamy. However, having said that, AM is also practiced in families that don't center on caste or class. Personally, I would prefer an AM as it takes all the mind games and stupidity that exists in dating because when you meet the person on your first date (marriage is already on the table and it is an end goal and two people can take the time to get to know each other without the guessing game.
2022-10-09 21:08:10 +0000 UTCAlso, same sex arrange marriage is not a thing, yet. Hopefully we get there if it means the parents are accepting enough. But since arrange marriage is considered back dated by the modern people it wouldnt go there i guess. Sort of opposite ends of things.
