When you get to Bombay Velvet, please don't go into it with all the controversy in mind because it will only affect your viewing experience. Go into it as you would with any other Anurag Kashyap movie. It is absolutely gorgeous. And speaking of Anurag Kashyap films, I didn't love his most recent film Dobaaraa with Taapsee. It's well made and all that but the plot was very weak and it didn't feel like an Anurag Kashyap film. It felt like this could have been directed by anyone. The Anurag touch was missing. Definitely his weakest so far.
