To answer Korbin’s why does he change the song tune: my take is, the song enacts a musical street drama about krishna in which he defeats his demon uncle kamsa. So there are songs written like a argument between two diff characters and the tune and lyrics and tempo changes and reflects the character. In this the lady voice is krishna and the male voice is the demon kamsa.
