What a wonderfully, broodingly moody film! Its great in all the aspects you mentioned direction, acting, cinematography and the music. The music alone could be a 45 minute review on its own. Loved it and your review.

2022-12-04 17:53:24 +0000 UTCWow, another great movie. Loved every aspect of it except one major flaw imo. This is my second favourite film after Manoj’s masterpiece Gali Guleiyan. The only flaw was that all the characters were very grounded and catered to western audiences taste but as I know these are not genuine Indian characters. Most of the people are naturally over the top in real life. Emotions are not implicit but explicit and they wear them on their sleeves and I personally love that aspect. Even the mum was so subtle and grounded. There wasn’t any mogambo like vibe in her mannerisms. That is unlike Indian people and characteristics. Apart from that, everything else was top class.
