Tabu is playing the cop role which is a male character in kaithi, the one that orchestrated the drug bust and asks the lead to drive the truck and assures safety for his daughter. There was a Hindi dub for this movie which got over 100 million views before it was taken down recently.

So the next part in this universe will be completely original, not a remake of Vikram. I haven’t seen Kaithi, but Tabus character in this movie was actually a male character in Kaithi (idk which character) I believe remakes like this should be appreciated by audiences as it’s not shot-for-shot, and the director has a vision for this movie. Ajays directorial ventures are solid in my opinion, highly recommend Runway 34.
