(Sarcasm! π) there were a couple of Bollywood action sequences as well in the video.. the point is, in general in the 80s-90s, across industries, it was normal to have these kinds of action sequences. And everyone knows/ understands it's funny. It's part of nostalgia. I do not understand why you would make a mountain out of a molehill by making this into yet another north vs south debate!

Its unfortunate that the movies u watched were cringe..and being south indian you dont feel the pride for the south indian movies.....all industries have cringe movies and good movies and them master pieces including bollywood ..I find many hindi movies unbearable and cant even watch the trailer.....but there are many who love those movies...which is fine....have you watched tamil movies by K.Balachander or Balu mahendra Bharathiraja or Vetrimaaran or Mahendran or Pa.Ranjith.or Karthik Subbaraj..or Telegu movies by K.Viswanath or Singeetham or Malayalam movies by Bharathan or Aravindhan or Sibi Malayil .or Fahsil..may be you should watch their movies when you can...and it may change your perception...just saying!! But even if you hate them you can just avoid watching those like many who just cant stand bollywood content like me just ignore instead of degrading every given chance !!

The problem is that bollywood as a film industry/business is much better than the rest. I just feel like these regional movies never represented my life in south india or gave me any entertainment. It was just utter cringe made by a weird film industry. I am not a fan of older hindi movies either, the recent ones post 2000 are the ones I enjoy

Now that ppl watch good telegu movies like RRR ppl point them towards real cringe movies, instead of recommending recent hindi movies to them. Something that actually might interest them. But you can't expect any better from an audience who used to watch this shit growing up
