I agree .. its hard to take him seriously because of his extravagant persona by everyone. But all his interviews with Anupama Chopra have been genuine.

2022-12-19 23:58:42 +0000 UTC83 is Ranveer’s best work imo. What a performance that was and that is saying a lot given I was flabbergasted by his performances in Bajirao M and Padmavat. Also, I feel he wears this artifical layer of flamboyance outside but internally he’s very thoughtful and creative. I really love him and he’s a great actor. I want to see all the movies he’s involved with. Wasn’t excited about circus movie earlier, but when he talked about Simbba which I didn’t see either, and the subtle fine line to tread between realism and goofyness, and to work towards extracting the performance from that difference is magical. I’m really excited about circus now
