The government (central and state) failed the people of India during that time. the government even had the gall to say they did not know how many migrant workers there are in the big cities. Did not do anything to help them. Everyone I know who was on the ground and helping people with their personal funds will tell you that such films will not be able to depict the true realities which were much much worse.
