It's interesting, Sholay was the first Hindi/Bollywood film i ever saw back around 1998 as a 4 years old born down here in Melbourne Australia, The movie was my childhood obsession, So I remember around 2012 I discovered the alternate ending on one of my dvd copies of the movie and I was absolutely blown away, There was even a scene where Gabbar tortures Ahmed before killing him but in the final cut all we see is gabbar slap a big on his hand before seeing a horse walking with Ahmed's body on its back.
