As audience, i too was put off by the parade of idiotic plot points which Rick pointed out and Korbin agreed to. There is a reason movie flopped. Unreserved stan-ing of stars is one of the reasons why they feel comfortable dishing out poorly thought out fare.

agreed. I have to give respect to Korbin. Even if he doesn’t entirely like a movie, he’ll still go over the things he liked (SRK as Gaurav, the action, etc.) Whereas Rick, will find one error that pissed him off, and he’ll rip the movie to shreds cause of that. He really said SRK in DDLJ was a better performance than him in FAN, which is just objectively wrong, anyone can see that. I don’t hate Rick, but it’s getting hard to support him, cause every once in a while this whole new side of him comes out during reviews where he comes off as arrogant and rude. And he also proceeds to shame Korbin and other stupid babies who liked aspects of this film, which was really off putting to me.

He was just plain wrong about some of the errors he pointed out and made fun of which people have explained above. He was the one who wasn't paying attention and can't even seem to read height properly (the 5.7 vs 5.10 comment) but goes on to say that's on SRK and then says he doesn't even want people to reach out to him to give their opinion or understanding of the movie. Korbin - Hope atleast you are reading these comments 🤞

everyone’s entitled to their opinion, and it’s fine Rick if you didn’t enjoy the movie. But to say things like “they didn’t care”, or “that’s on SRK” just because of stupid continuity errors is not okay. Many movies like Pirates, LOTR, Gladiator, and Marvel movies all had continuity errors (there’s a whole youtube channel that dissects continuity errors in movies). Does that mean they didn’t care?? SRK worked on this film for years and was very passionate about it from the get go, which is why it really hurt him when the film flopped. It felt like you were ranting just cause you wanted to rant. It’s feeling very much like your ridiculous “Andhadhun” review.
