you may be wrong !!! do not focus that arranged marriages are wrong but consider that 55% fg love marriages are divorced in Inida and West and you blame Men for that..

I a lot of women end up staying in horrible arranged marriages because of how taboo getting divorced is and they get treated like shit by their husbands, even when domestic violence is involved. The reason the divorce rate in India is so low isn't because love marriages are not realistic - its because of the taboo around divorce

i know you will not read this.. but just stating for my purpose.. i am watching this movie 5th time with you i love your watch alongs... I have concerns on you some points in reaction. 1) You mentioned in reaction that "this culture have this" which is not true... Every culture have this issue.. 2) you mentioned about divorce that why court should involve. My response is this.. If you want to be legally married then you will have to register in the registrar which is true even for america. If you want to be legally married then divorce should also be approved from govt.. also the large parameter of divorce is that if spouse is not able to provide, abuusive, have extra metrriatal affair or have mental issues can be dovirced without mutual consent. And i have seen two divorce in my life of close relative. My brother was asked for divorce because he had metal issues and had very bad outcome.. Please understand that if such movies are made it is because society accepts it.. 3) You pointed out that arranged marriages are a fault but please understand that divorce rate of India is very very very less than US or western and it is not because of compulsion. Every family member i know is arranged marriage with new gen going for love/arranged. We are all having great family.. Please do not assume that arranged marriages are bad, arranged are better than love marriages as I can argue that love marriages are based on feelings not on reality..

you guys need to understand that Malayalam film can develop any subject matter and will be successful. it could be woke culture, criticize politics or religion etc.. but it will not be banned.. these movies are successful because man and women support these. and Kerala has a very much mature audience. So this region is more woke than any region including west... this is what i love about this region movies...
