2023-07-31 22:50:22 +0000 UTC'Introspective' - I agree, Korbin. Though I do agree with most things Rick is saying too! However, Rick was bored in the middle bit because it was all a tribute to old Hindi songs which he wouldn't have been familiar with. That tribute was my favourite part.

2023-07-31 08:27:52 +0000 UTCFeel sorry that you had to watch it with bad Polish subs, I heard that the English subs were done very well in trying to convey the comedy in the way Ranveer speaks English...there were a lot of references to older movies too (not sure how they translated for non-Hindi speakers)...will have to check out the movie again when it comes out on Amazon Prime. I am pretty sure I would have missed a few references in the first watch...except for the SRK references though which just kept going (there were like 6 of them 😂🤩). The Dola Re sequence deservedly got the loudest cheers in my theatre and multiple times too!! 🥰

2023-07-31 05:02:14 +0000 UTCNice review. I share most of Korbin's enthusiasm and some of Rick's criticism. This film just reminds me why I fell for Indian cinema starting with K3G years ago. But a bit overlong and too preachy in 2nd part. Still for me Bollywood feast in Warsaw (but with terrible Polish subs). My highlights: Ranveer (fabulous) and Alia, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi; old and new songs; Kathak plot.
