2023-07-31 20:46:53 +0000 UTCMy childhood movie ❤️ I remember being on Holidays in Fiji when I first saw this pop up on TV back in dec 2003 and as soon as I flew back to Melbourne, I went straight away to my local Indian store and picked up the DVD 😂 I still own that DVD even today and just a few years ago I ended up getting 2 sealed copies as a tribute to this 😊

I need to watch with my daughter again. yeah basketball was 😐 , loved hrithik as always and it’s an iconic role for him, that time when memes were not a thing Rohit Mehra dialogues were kind of meme😂used at several places , thank you again wholeheartedly for doing this, made me happy and smiling ☺️also never thought it will make the watch along list , but thanks for thinking for a Hrithik fan here❤️❤️

Some questionable scenes and dialogs but i will leave it for extra woke audience 😁 Hrithik was a darling in this movie.. I am excited to watch it with you guys.. 2023-07-31 15:56:05 +0000 UTCWhile on the subject on KANK, the tonality of the movie is all over the place...it is loud and garish one moment and sad/poignant in another...marks to Karan and SRK for attempting this subject in a mainstream movie especially given their loyal family audience at the time...SRK plays the abrasive unlikeable bitter man-child very well though. If you can believe it, people were shocked at what they saw (including my parents)...there was so much outrage at the time that there were debates during prime time on news channels about the movie...I remember seeing SRK and Karan on a panel in one such show where they had to explain themselves and the movie and that they weren't advocating infidelity.
