Like level of consistent quality from MSV, Ilayaraja, ARR and Ani following one after the other is just insane. And this is without even mentioning other greats in each era like KVM, Deva, Vidyasagar, Yuvan, Harris!

Pritam doesn’t compose for Tamil cinema, and vice versa (Ani just started with Jawan so still too soon to say), so there’s no comparing. However, I did mean to say Tamil, so my apologies for generalizing with saying South. All I meant is they both are arguably the hottest composers of their own respective industries, and there isn’t just one composer who is the hottest in ALL of india.
