The next song begins with the letter the previous song ended in and goes on. This game was pretty popular during field trips/ family picnics and train rides back in the 90s.

He was known for his comic timing and his unique style of slapstick acting.. kind of like Jim Carrey.. If ever you get to watch Marathi movies (which in today's scenario seems like never ) , do watch his movie Banva Banvi.. his movies will be considered classics .. gone too soon 🙏

2023-11-16 22:27:56 +0000 UTCDang, wish someone explained the game, Antakshari to you before. This is a game that used to be played in many Indian homes during big parties and festivities. The game is where each side sings a song and the other side has to sing another starting with the same syllable as with which the first one ended. In this video each one of those songs are from other hindi movies. As kids we could go on for hours singing one song after another before one side is eventually not able to find a song starting with the required syllable/sound (actually letter in Hindi). Its a test of how many film songs one can remember.
