That white women which is portrayed in the movie, is supposed to be in Auroville a place where multicultural people from many countries live, usually their kids will be born and raised here so they will be fluent in Tamil/Hindi/Bengali and they will hold Indian citizenship as well, thats why she speaks in Tamil in the movie

It’s important to know the 80s/90s movies to completely enjoy it. The comedy of errors in the 2nd part was actually well received by the audience. I can see how it can be perceived as bad if you don’t know context of using the actors.

I think you just had one where you discussed the revised list for this year and you said that 3 movies from your top 5 would be Malayalam.. yet y’all have clearly made a decision ( correct me if I am wrong) that Malayalam content isn’t even going to be in a conversation of random watch alongs.. this is just my refusal to see why this is happening.. and this refusal is making me frustrated..

Very fun and great ani music -Padayappa starring Rajinikanth (if you want to see an entertaining movie that shows Rajinikanth in all his glory plus great AR Rahman soundtrack) - Alaipayuthey with Madhavan and Shalini , directed by Mani Ratnam and Ar Rahman music. An iconic Tamil romance film that was later remade in Hindi too. Might be great to watch with Steph - Ghilli starring Vijay and Trisha (again, you’ve seen songs from this film , including one from yesterday) . It’s the movie that defined Vijay’s career and success. -Vaaranam Aayiram starring Suriya and directed by Gautham Menon (who you’ve seen act in Leo and a bunch of other things but not any of his movies he directed lol, which is what he’s known for) . Plus great Harris music which you’ve reacted to before . Good one to watch with Steph as well These are just my suggestions that I think could be great watch a long choices 😊
