You obviously love the few current actors you watch (Ranveer, Alia, Ranbir, Deepika etc) who doesn't love them. But I do think you are unfamiliar with soo many iconic recent movies of other current male & female actors; Shraddha, Varun, Sidharth, Aditya, Harshvardhan Rane, Kunal Khemu, Ayushman, Janhvi, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara or even recent films of actors like Akshay, Vicky, Shahid etc

2023-10-04 16:28:50 +0000 UTCOne complaint for OsR would be, you guys ignore small hindi movies and their trailers I see so many good actors, trailers not acknowledged or reacted to.. but a lot of attention to SRK, Ranveer,Ranbir, Alia , KJo.. like everything these AListers do, it is seen by OSR.. i blame it to the extra PR KJo and gang does . KJO is everywhere and the amount of time the journalists give me is astonishing .. he openly has accepted that he builds his narrative and posters with stars ratings are ready before the movies come out. Unfortunately, OSR is a prey of that PR..like many of us..

I will not blame OSR. I blame hindi audience. Atleast on Patreon. South indian audience is more vocal and also less critical of their cinema. They will defend their cinema also a lot. Not the same with Hindi audience on Patreon. Hindi audience is divided in choices, and not so vocal. There are barely any supportive comments. I dont see hindi cinephiles on Patreon

I have no qualms them watching South Indian content or other regional content, in fact I want them to watch more and more. But also they need to be fair and honest when they judge. Check their earlier OSR awards and their random musings whenever they talk about best of the year etc. Thatโs all Iโm talking about. This is a pattern which is repeating and Iโm not going to be a silent majority this time.

They went Gaga over it. See their reviews. Haddi (again not you) was reviewed with great aplomb for lead actors. Qala a masterpiece with Tripti Dimri. Manoj Bajpayeeโs Gali Guleiyan and Gulmohar. Check their reviews. I havenโt even touched OTT yet.

They talk about the best art pieces of the year (year after year) and they keep ignoring anything coming out of Bollywood year after year and yet when they review they have reviews over 35 minutes and they are all gaga over it. But when they start talking about best art pieces they deliberately ignore it to garner the views from other regional fans. Hate this hypocrisy and they must be ashamed. Yet they vehemently and rightly say they donโt take money to review movies. What is this then? Garnering viewerships to downplay deliberately is equally wrong. Integrity cannot be selective. This hypocrisy must be called out and it definitely is not freedom of speech.

Like made in heaven has its flaws, but so much to talk about in the series Short movies from Anthologies like Ajeeb Dastaans, Roy etc.. Please think about it.. popular vote will always be for popular stuff and they might get it from other reaction channels.. But some of us enjoy your reactions tha actually appreciates the artistry and talk about film-maker's choices . I know you do not know what you are going to react to to make that choice- but may be come up with a system that allows us to suggest videos..
