She came into the movies when there were few others who could dance well. There was only Govinda among the guys and Sridevi, Madhuri and Meenakshi Seshadhri among the ladies. So she was like a breath of fresh air as many of my older cousins would say at the time. She grew up abroad so she was badly trolled for her bad hindi accent.

Also has Ananya Pandey's Mom, Sanjay Kapoor's wife (Anil's Brother) and the former wife of one of Salman Khan's brothers and an occasional appearance by Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh was in the first season as well as appearances of Karan Johar. . Not sure if its worth it for you to watch but I find it fun as I am familiar with all the people associated with it.

She was the original pair up with Govinda back in the 80s right from his debut movie ilzaam , 2 songs of which you have reacted to and you have seen her in one of them on the stage. Both were a success together overnight after ilzaam and were paired in many movies of the late 80s. She was Govinda's original perfect pair before Karishma, Raveena Tandon and Rani Mukherjee came along in he 90s. She is a damn good actress also but faded away too soon before 90s started hence did not get to shine much. She was very famous for her hair and there was a fringe hair style called Neelam Cut. Check out their most successful song ever which is a rage even today. It has resurfaced a few years back on the social media and became a huge success again. Record number of Reels are made on this song. People were spell bound with the beat as it was very new for that era. Year is 1987 and movie is Khudgarz made by Rakesh Roshan.
