Dil Chahta Hai/ZNMD- Farhaan/Zoya Akhtar- Good movies on simple /normal topics can be made without mellodrama and without making it looks very artsy..

Nobody has been able to make his grandeur and his influence is Mughal E Azam and Lata Mangeshkar for his music

2023-10-16 21:37:54 +0000 UTCIt’s been a while since y’all have seen it, but I would 100% include Dil Chahta Hai as an important landmark and definitely changed things for Hindi cinema. It was a refreshing take on Bollywood, didn’t have the conventional plot lines or melodrama, and had a non-linear narrative which was not the norm back then.
