agree.. because it has lot of dialogs which makes the movie great and they would not relate to it at all.. That is why i am hesitant to ask them to watch classics like Chitram, Godfather etc etc

No... please leave Manichitrathazhu alone... it is too precious to us collectively ...

I was interested in Rickβs inability to believe certain aspects of the movie that pertained to the spiritual world where he was left asking why the moon was significant etc when during the review of Romancham He kept insisting that he was a believer of supernatural and kept insisting on proper responsible ouija board use.. because he had experienced making contact!!
I would think believing in one would actually mean you are open to the other right?

Hey, I was screaming NO when you said you were considering to watch this movie in Halloween time. But thatβs okay. good to watch some mediocre stuff also from Malayalam once in a while. π I was hoping for manichithrathazhu though. π«€

What you both said is more or less what I thought about this movie too. I wanted to like it but there was too much going on to be truly likeable.
On the other hand, several of our ancestral homes in Kerala have all these and even creepier folklore that is passed on generation to generation. I really wish we still had our 'tharvadu veedu' back home and all the centuries old trees and buildings that have crazy stories to tell.
