Listening to this, have to disagree with dear SRK. He did have a meltdown/midlife crisis end of 2011 to 2012 for the whole world to see: end-2011/2012 -had public meltdowns and fights -slapped a dear friend's (Farah Khan's) husband at a party -had an (alleged) affair with Priyanka after nearly 30 years of fiercely devoted relationship with Gauri Khan -abrasive behaviour elsewhere He is no saint. But he, and hopefully his wife, recovered after his yearlong breakdown. But they will remain his worst mistakes.

SRK did experiment. With Zero, Fan, Raees.. and these movies flopped.. As an actor, he is restricted by his stardom.. he knows what happens when An SRK Movie flops. A lot of money rides on just his name. Its a loss for a lot of people working in the movie with him.. and he knows that responsibility. So does Aamir Khan .. They dont charge money for the project. But keep profits of money they make. Aamir Khan has mentioned many times in interviews that only when all the parties involved in the movie make money, he feels ok. When SRk did Dear Zindagi, he kept saying in interviews that its not my film. It belongs to Aalia and Director Gauri Shinde bcoz he didnt want his fans to be disappointed expecting a lot of him in the movie
