2024-04-03 22:08:18 +0000 UTCThe guy they kept showing is Vairamuthu who penned the lyrics for this song, it was his debut as well if I am not mistaken- Trivia : this tune was composed by ilayaraja for bharathiraja s film and they couldn’t find suitable lyrics or something like that, ilayaraja who was then renowned reluctantly agreed to give an unassuming Vairamuthu a chance , and the results were astounding, the ilayaraja -vairamuthu combo created many memorable hits together before they split after some misunderstanding.
