Doesn't being a good actor require one to learn how to not let things happening in your day to day life affect/influence your performance?

Have never really liked Rick’s medal system so don’t care if it’s a platinum but yeah that’s what it should be regardless. What’s problematic and in question here is Rick’s credibility due to his erratic and eccentric state of mind and how, as a professional, he justifies the treatment he metes out to movies he watches / reviews in a volatile head space. Personally, I have never been a big fan of Rick’s reviews bcz of many such factors and this instance only adds to it. Regardless, glad that he trusted the judgment of majority of the Patreons here and a large no of cinephiles who suggested him to revisit the film, and thankfully so!

Film companion does something called a "revisit"- movies they revisit coz they know they screwed up some reviews and werent on the same page as the audience .. And also just fyi - Indian takeway from the word "hate" is much much stronger than how loosely Americans use it ..

I’m in such a happy place that your comment doesn’t even bother me Btw, no one’s stopping u from being persistent in requesting re-watch of a movie that’s “loved by majority” but hated by R&K 🤷🏼♀️ Also fyi: Rick clearly said that it was Atul Kulkarni’s question/comment that got Rick to revisit the movie! Finally, We were never asking a re-watch of the movie. That was a decision solely taken by Rick. We only wanted the review and hear what he didn’t like about the movie the first time he watched!

"SHIDDAT" (2021). These are just to name one from each year that I loved that you have missed in the past 4 years. Hope you get to these, obviously there are a lot more amazing ones 🙌 Would recommend for you and Steph to prioritize doing watchalongs to modern romance genre movies from Bollywood as well 😊
